When we talk about military ranks of Nigeria, we are talking about the Nigerian Army ranks, Nigerian Navy ranks, and the Nigerian Air Force ranks. The Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force are the three branches of the military and they have equivalents of ranks among them. This simply means that any rank you see in the Army, you will also see it in the Navy but with a different name. The same goes for the Nigerian Air Force.
